Elon Musk has sent out a tweet which makes us think that he knows more than he’s letting on about the alien drama going on in the US.

The backstory

In case you have been living in a bunker, deep underground in the moist Gutenberg Discontinuity, and haven’t heard the alien news, here is a quick catch-up. Apparently, aliens have been visiting earth for quite some time, according to sworn testimony under oath from Rt. Commander David Fravor, at a US Government House oversight hearing on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP).

Commander Fravor spoke of his encounter with a “tic-tac” shaped UFO in 2004. He said, “The technology that we faced was far superior than anything that we had, have today, or are looking to develop in the next 10+ years.”

Other claims came from David Grusch, an ex-Air Force intelligence officer. He alleged that government officials have treated whistleblowers who spoke out about aliens harshly, adding that he couldn’t say more due to information still being classified.

Are there aliens?

The recent UFO hearings in the U.S. Congress have put people into two schools of thought. The first is, “Holy hell! There are aliens!” and the second is, “This is garbage, the US government is trying to distract their citizens from bigger issues.”

Wherever you lie on the belief scale, the one person that should know something is Elon Musk. Musk is the visionary CEO of Tesla, Space X, Starlink, X, and The Boring Company has been all up in space for quite a while.

In a tweet earlier today, Musk confused us all about where he is at with the alleged aliens.

As the overlord of SpaceX, a private aerospace manufacturer and space transportation company, Musk has revolutionised space technology. His bigger aim, of course, is to enable the colonisation of Mars.

Musk Aliens and xAI

Musk often discusses his desire to find alien life. In fact, he says he built his new AI, called xAI, to help unravel the ‘Fermi paradox’ — the question that persists as to why humans have not yet found alien life.

While Musk has always stated that he hoped we weren’t alone in the universe, he has always taken the line that there has been, so far, no evidence of aliens.

With his expertise in space technology and rocketry, it seems logical to assume that Musk’s work has encountered puzzling phenomena similar to those discussed in the UFO hearings.

However, despite being aware of these objects’ existence, Musk had remained silent about any encounters or observations. Until his tweet yesterday. While Musk’s tweet about the UFO hearings may not confirm the existence of aliens, it certainly adds fuel to the fire of speculation.

That fact that space aficionado Musk is treating the alien news as a joke has merely fuelled our curiosity, leaving us to ponder whether he knows more than he lets on or is simply joining the buzz surrounding the hottest topic of the moment.

As we await further developments, one thing remains certain: Elon Musk will continue to keep us guessing, as will aliens.
