Aussie beer brand Better Beer has teamed up with Coinspot to give folks the chance to score free Bitcoin while enjoying a cold one.

Better Beer was founded by the brains behind The Inspired Unemployed back in 2021 to serve up health-conscious beer lovers with low and zero-carb drink alternatives (that don’t compromise on flavour).

Starting from July 1, there will be two Bitcoin hidden in specially marked slabs of Better Beer Zero Carb cans. Dan Murphy’s and BWS will be selling the specially marked cases sporting blue ‘Find The Bitcoin’ artwork on top. It’s kind of like a Bitcoin scavenger hunt, which is quite cute. Considering Bitcoin isn’t actually a physical coin, the beer lords have hinted that if you do open a winning tin – you’ll absolutely know.

If you’re more of a social butterfly, there will be a third Bitcoin available to be won from a pub, via a cheeky lottery. All you have to do is buy one of Better Beer’s signature frosty beverages from a participating venue. Alongside your refreshing beer, you’ll receive a scratch card with a silver panel that scratches away to reveal a unique code. Once you’ve done that, you’ll need to place the code and your contact details on their website and sit back and wait for the draw. The winner will be chosen entirely at random on Tuesday, August 1. You can find the terms and conditions right over here.

The market value of each bitcoin as of May 26th was approximately $45,634.22, meaning there’s approx $135,000 worth of Crypto up for grabs.

Please note that this competition is exclusively open to residents of NSW, VIC, QLD, TAS & WA.
