Pedestrian Group – which publishes PEDESTRIAN.TV, The Chainsaw, VICE Australia, Refinery29 Australia, Lifehacker Australia, Kotaku Australia and Gizmodo Australia – is Australia’s largest youth-focused publisher.

Our network of globally renowned websites publish links to various retailers as part of its reporting, particularly within product reviews produced by our Affiliate team and Lifehacker Coupons. These are wholly independent of any reviews written by our editorial team, which abides by a strict editorial policy you can read here.

Pedestrian Group’s affiliate team independently selects products and services we think you’ll enjoy. When you click on a link that leads to a third-party website (such as an online retailer) with whom we have a commercial arrangement, we may earn referral fees. This doesn’t mean that we receive compensation every time you click on a link or apply for a product or service; in some instances, we only receive a share if you decide to buy or obtain a product or service. Current partners include, but aren’t limited to, Amazon, Skimlinks, Impact, Partnerize, Whistleout, Linkby, Commission Factory, Rakuten, Upfeat and Monetizer101.

Certain commercial partners pay us a flat-fee to be featured in an article or in lists of products and/or services. This means they may feature more prominently in a piece of content, but preferential placement doesn’t impact how we review or share our opinion; you can trust that our affiliate team will be transparent about both pros and cons.

Similarly, our affiliate team may receive products or services free of charge from manufacturers to road test, but this doesn’t determine whether or not a product is featured or recommended.

Lifehacker Coupons publishes the best deals and coupon codes from hundreds of online retailers. It’s produced and maintained in close partnership with Upfeat, which you can learn more about here. As with affiliate content, Pedestrian Group may earn a commission when a purchase is made via Lifehacker Coupons.

While we make every effort to ensure the information we provide at the time of publication is accurate, we strongly advise you to confirm the fine print on any product, brand or service before making any purchase.

Independence

Pedestrian Group’s affiliate team chooses every product and deal we post based on our own interest, reader interest and/or the quality of the deal. Though we do receive compensation from certain commercial partners to be featured in an article or in lists of products and/or services (see ‘Paid inclusions’), we will only ever accept if we genuinely believe the product or service is of value to our readership.

Disclosure

You’ll see product and/or service comparison tables featured in some of our affiliate content. These modules provide readers with the name of a product/service, inclusions where applicable and live prices from various retailers. These are produced in close partnership with Monetizer 101 (Example 1) and Whistleout (Example 2). Retailers and prices are updated in real-time.
